Donovan snags education union endorsement for 5th District run

The Connecticut Education Association today announced its support for State Rep. Chris Donovan, D-Meriden, as he sets his eyes on the Congressional 5th District.
CEA, an educational labor union with more than 41,000 members, made the announcement with Donovan on hand Monday on the steps of Torrington’s Vogel-Wetmore School. Union president Phil Apruzzese said Donovan has a “passion” for education.
“He will bring that passion to Washington,” Apruzzese said.
